Feature Friday- Which do to do? Wedding Day Hairsyles
It’s your wedding day! Time to get all glammed up. Hair, Make up, Jewelry, Manicure, Dress, Shoes. When it comes to hairstyles, there are plenty to choose from. Here are a few our favorites:
Half up and half down: Want long sweeping locks? To be realistic, you’ll want your hair out of your face, so pin back the top half. Tease up or pin curls back to create a dramatic yet, tolerable do for the day.
Side pony-I am in love with sweeping strands on the side. Especially when you include a hair clip or barrett. Ask your hair dresser to use your accessory or veil in the trial hair appointment so you can see what placement looks best.
Short Hair- you are a little more limited with short hair. Feathers or flowers will grab more attention as will your veil. Loose curls will give an elegant but casual feel.
Up-do: the most popular hairstyle for brides- stunning styles will add the icing on the cake for your attire. Whether curly or straight, something to consider is the length of time your hair will be done up. Typically a bride gets her hair done hours before the ceremony and needs it to maintain it’s glamour until reception. (around 10 hours total) If you have thin hair, you may want to nix the curls but still get an elegant up do. If you’re blessed with thick hair-the options are endless! Complete with flower of course!
All Down: Simple yet elegant. If you’re not into thousands of bobby pins protruding your head all night, opt for simple, loose curls all down. Remember how gorgeous Jen was with Brad?
